Job summary

US Bureau of Naval Personnel is seeking a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist with specialized experience at the GS-12 level or equivalent. Job description

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• Applying psychological health methods and interventions to counsel clients in a military academy or college setting;
• Conducting both individual and group counseling with clients;
• Applying best practices in outreach psycho-education services;
• Providing input and recommend changes for clinical and administrative processes;
• Applicants must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States (e.g., Puerto Rico), or the District of Columbia.
