Essen Health Care in New York seeks aClinical Psychiatrist to provide direct patient care in outpatient and nursing home settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role supports Essen Health Home care coordination and may involve innovative pilot projects.

The position requires a doctoral degree and NYS registration as a psychologist, with 25+ hours per week. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. Salary may reflect bonuses & incentives.

Qualificações

• Doctoral Degree in clinical or counseling Psychiatry (Ph.D./PsyD).
• Current NYS registration as a Psychologist.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus but not a requirement.
• Must be able to work 25+ hours a week.

Responsabilidades

• Assessment of patients referred by Primary Care Provider (PCP) using evidenced based assessment tools.
• Treatment of behavioral health conditions using evidenced based approaches (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, crisis intervention, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and behavioral activation).
• Make treatment recommendations.
• Refers the patient to Psychiatrist as deemed appropriate
• Monitor client treatment through review of clinical documentation as well as coordination of care with other health providers and health homes.
• Provide crisis intervention services and risk assessment of patients as needed.
• Engage clients with limited utilization of behavioral health service through outreach efforts
• Document services in a timely fashion.
