Base pay range

My client is a precision medicine oncology biotech looking for an experienced Program Director of Clinical Operations to lead oncology clinical trial programs from strategy through execution. This is a full time contract role with the opportunity to make a major impact in advancing next-generation cancer therapies.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee one or more global oncology programs, ensuring studies start and finish on time, on budget, and in full compliance with GCP.
• Drive strategy and execution — from vendor/CRO oversight to clinical development planning, site selection, enrollment, and data quality.
• Anticipate risks, solve problems, and remove roadblocks so programs move forward smoothly.
• Represent Clinical Operations at the program level, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners and external collaborators.
• Mentor and build strong teams, creating a high-performance culture.

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ years in clinical operations, with at least 8 years in leadership roles running oncology trials (early and late phase).
• Experience in biotech or small-company settings preferred.
• Skilled in CRO/vendor management, budget oversight, and operational strategy.
• Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP and global regulatory guidelines.
• Proven track record of driving studies to completion and leading teams to success.
