The Menta Education Group is seeking a Clinical Program Director for Menta Tech Academy in Illinois. You will oversee social work and clinical programming, support special education initiatives, and collaborate with parents and staff to enhance academic and behavioral outcomes.

The role involves a 10-month calendar with ~80% remote work and ~20% in-person meetings in the Chicagoland area, leading a small team and ensuring IEPs are entered and up-to-date across district systems.

Job Description

As a Clinical Program Director, you will be responsible for all social work and clinical programming for Menta Tech Academy, a part of The Menta Education Group. You will provide support to school-wide initiatives in special education and drive change by working with staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement. In addition, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.

10 month position, following a school calendar.

Only ONE of the following Illinois Licenses Required:

• Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate) through ISBE
• MSW with LSW through IDFPR
• LCSW through IDFPR
• LCPC through IDFPR
• LPC through IDFPR
• ISBE PEL School Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Approximately 80% work responsibilities are virtual/remote and 20% work responsibilities are in-person

• Develop positive behavioral and academic interventions
• Monitor student progress and evaluations, program evaluations, and consult with educational staff, parents, and other professionals

Qualifications

• Only One (1) of following Licenses/Certifications is required: Certified School Social Worker (IL PEL Certificate), IL MSW with LSW, IL LCSW, IL LCPC, IL LPC
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
• Creative thinker who can develop a wide range of interventions meeting the needs of a diverse student population
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
