Job summary

The University of Copenhagen seeks a clinical professor of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Oncology to commence as soon as possible. The externally funded professorship is combined with a consultancy at Rigshospitalet in the ORL, Head and Neck Surgery and Audiology department in the Capital Region.

Qualifications

• Document a high degree of original academic production at international level
• Manage research and external academic activities and knowledge/tech transfer
• Provide research-based teaching

Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality clinical and translational research in otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery and audiology
• Contribute to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education through research-based teaching
• Provide research leadership and strategic direction for the department’s research environment
• Share knowledge with society and participate in public debate
• Engage in academic assessments and mentorship of researchers
