Qualifications

• PhD in Economics or related field preferred.
• At least five years of executive-level experience providing economic analysis of business or government policy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of economic impacts on the Charlotte, NC or greater Carolinas region.

Responsibilities

• The Director will be responsible for administrative oversight of the North Carolina Economic Impact Center.
• Teaching and administrative responsibilities as Director of the NC Economic Impact Center with a reduced teaching load of four sections.
• Courses taught will be determined in consultation with the Department Chair.
• Responsibilities for this position include sufficient academic and/or other professional activities to meet the Belk College Faculty Qualification Standards and engage in service activities in the Department, College, University and Charlotte community.
