Job summary

University of Michigan’s Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time clinical-track faculty member to work in Ambulatory Psychiatry focusing on adults. Qualifications

• Applicants must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree and be certified or eligible and working towards certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Must hold or be eligible for Michigan medical and pharmacy licenses.
• Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.

Responsibilities

• Focus on provision of high-quality clinical care for adults in ambulatory psychiatry.
• Share in teaching responsibilities of medical learners including medical students, house officers, and clinical fellows.
• Participate in or lead quality improvement and research efforts.
• Provide mentorship, didactic teaching, and engage in patient care activities with learners in related disciplines including social work, psychology, and pharmacy.
