Job summary

University of Washington is seeking candidates for a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Clinical Practice in Pediatrics, Division of Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine, in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital. The appointment spans teaching, clinical care, and scholarship with a Summer 2026 start.

The base salary ranges by rank—from $163,692 to $356,748, commensurate with experience and qualifications, with additional compensation potentially provided by the affiliated practice

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Medical licensure in Washington
• Board Eligibility or Certification in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine
• USMLE or equivalent steps completed for H-1B sponsorship eligibility

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a new Comprehensive Asthma Program at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
• Collaborate to build inpatient, outpatient and community-based program integrating clinical care, advocacy and research.
• Engage in teaching, scholarship and service within UW Department of Pediatrics and Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine.
