Salary range: Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Plastic Surgery ranging from $426,424.00 to $567,346.00. The posted UC salary scales set the base pay based on rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides eligibility for additional compensation.

The University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery is accepting applications from skilled physician educators who are passionate about advancing clinical care, education, and research within a clinical/academic setting. Positions are anticipated in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series and the Professor of Clinical "X" Series at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank.
The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, medical students, and other academic learners; provide quality patient care; collaborate on research and/or creative works; and perform university and public service. The role requires substantial research, teaching, and public service to meet series criteria.
Candidates must possess an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D.; be board certified or board eligible in Plastic Surgery; hold a California Medical License or be eligible for one; and be able to obtain UCIMC staff credentials. Fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery is preferred.
