Job summary

Shenandoah University’s Department of Nursing is accepting applications for a Graduate Clinical Placement Coordinator. This is a full‑time, benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.

You will manage immunization documentation, licensing, and orientation processes for nursing students, while coordinating with clinical sites and university leadership. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to liaise among the SON, partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate liaison between the SON, other universities and students, and community stakeholders.
• Proficiency with software platforms such as EXXAT, Canvas, and Google.

Responsibilities

• Ensure documented immunizations are on file and RN license is active.
• Ensure students complete orientation requirements before clinical start.
• Maintain student compliance documents and site requirements.
• Facilitate clear communication between the academic institution, clinical site, and students.
• Develop relationships with clinical partners to ensure quality learning experiences.
• Provide data and reports for regulation and accreditation in collaboration with leadership.
