Job summary

Qualified candidates hold active PT licensure in WV/MD/OH/PA or a PT Compact license and must obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current physical therapist licensure in WV/MD/OH/PA or PT Compact License.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Four years of physical therapist experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
• Apply research-based techniques to examine, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting movement.
• Supervise PTAs, Rehab Techs, students, and volunteers.
• Participate in meeting unit and department goals to support the hospital’s objectives.
• Supervise therapy assistants in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Submit accurate charges for services rendered using the EMR/billing system.
• Complete annual education related to specialty accreditation as defined by standards.
