Job summary

StateJobsNY's Manhattan Psychiatric Center seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor to supervise pharmacists and staff, collaborate with psychiatrists on treatment goals, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee inventories, audits, and budgets. The role requires licensure as a Pharmacist with supervisory experience and familiarity with NYS civil service rules.

Qualifications

• 4 years post-licensure pharmacist experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Eligible for NY HELPS or current Pharmacy Supervisor eligible list.
• Within State Service, transfer eligible with 1 year permanent competitive service or 55-b/55-c eligibility.
• Non-competitive promotion possible under Civil Service Law §52.7 if eligible.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and medical staff on treatment goals.
• Ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and practice standards.
• Conducting audits and inspections of inventories, storage, and records.
• Preparing pharmacy budgets and monitoring expenditures.
