Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services, drug information, and pharmacotherapy monitoring. You will educate staff, participate in local and system committees, and act as a preceptor for residents and students.

Responsibilities include adverse drug reaction reporting, formulary maintenance, and contributing to policy development while ensuring PHI compliance and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Clinical pharmacy expertise and patient-focused pharmacotherapy.
• Ability to provide drug information and conduct monitoring.
• Experience in staff education and continuing education delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information and monitoring.
• Investigate adverse drug reactions and report findings.
• Participate in MS&T committee to evaluate new drug usage and formulary.
• Serve as a resource for clinicians and staff.
• Provide continuing education to Clinical Pharmacist staff.
• Document clinical activities.
• Serve as a preceptor for residents and students.
• Engage in local/system committees and workgroups.
