JobRx, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care and serve as a drug therapy expert within a multidisciplinary care team.
The ideal candidate will have a Pharm.D., at least 7 years of clinical experience, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. This position is onsite only, with a starting pay rate of $60.71/hr.
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides pharmaceutical care to all patients consistent with the goals and objectives of the hospital and the pharmacy department. The pharmacist will participate as an integral member of the care team and serve as the drug therapy expert for their designated area. Complex therapies, drug‑related problems, care plan coordination, and transitions of care activities will be identified and mitigated if needed. Pharmacists are expected to focus the full potential of their knowledge and experience on the assessment and improvement of patient care, which includes providing education to the multidisciplinary care team and participating in protocol and order set development.
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
Our pay range for this job begins at $60.71/hr, but the offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
