Job description

Position Summary

The UNC‑Duke Collaborative Clinical Pharmacology T32 Postdoctoral Training Program is a partnership between the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and the Duke Clinical Research Institute designed to prepare clinician‑scientists for leadership in clinical pharmacology research. This two‑year program meets the fellowship training expectations set by the American Board of Clinical Pharmacology and is a registered member of ABCP. The program covers drug discovery, clinical development, regulatory issues, therapeutic use and individualization of drug therapy, optimization of drug dosage regimens, understanding of drug‑induced toxicity, and measures to prevent or minimize adverse effects.

Education and Experience Requirements

Candidate must have completed doctoral training in the pharmaceutical or medical field (M.D., Pharm.D., or D.D.S.).

Required Qualifications
  • Full understanding of framing research questions, designing studies, and implementing projects.
  • Proficiency in scientific manuscript writing, grant writing, poster creation, and oral presentations.
