Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Clinical Pharmacology Solutions Consultant in Baltimore with a hybrid work arrangement. You will drive strategic impact by developing operational and technical solutions that advance clinical research and support client objectives across multiple business units.

You will collaborate with enterprise and growth accounts, craft differentiated value propositions, and influence bid strategies from opportunity identification to client engagement. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field.
• Multiple years of experience in the life sciences industry.
• Significant experience in strategic drug development planning or involvement in planning clinical, technical, or operational strategies.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and the drug development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) in business, life sciences, or related field (preferred).
• Experience with clinical trial management systems, proposal development platforms, or enterprise software solutions.
• Active participation in industry forums, professional organizations, or thought leadership activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed to support client relationships and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and prioritize sales opportunities in partnership with Enterprise Accounts, Growth Accounts, and Strategic Business Units, crafting creative and strategic solutions tailored to specific client needs and sales campaigns
• Develop customer-focused, compelling proposal content that clearly differentiates Parexel from competitors, articulates our value proposition, and drives business growth across multiple service lines
• Provide strategic advice and guidance to both sponsors and internal teams, leveraging deep expertise in therapeutic, technical, or functional areas to develop highly competitive solution models and communicate credibly with all organizational levels
• Define bid pursuit strategy and content, review and integrate considerations into RFP responses, and participate in bid pursuit meetings to ensure alignment with client objectives and Parexel capabilities
• Maintain extensive knowledge of relevant products, pipelines, and market trends, identifying business opportunities and driving a consultative approach that positions Parexel as an industry leader
• Support clients through the pre-award process and play a key role in promoting solution adoption, while solving complex business issues and presenting strategic recommendations to client leadership
• Foster a strong One Parexel culture by driving market requirements and client feedback into Product Management and solution development, creating relevant and competitive value propositions for the market

About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacology Solutions Consultant to join our team in a hybrid capacity. As a Solutions Consultant, you will drive strategic impact by developing compelling operational and technical solutions that advance clinical research and support our clients' most critical objectives. This position plays a key role in identifying market opportunities, crafting differentiated value propositions, and positioning Parexel as an industry leader in clinical development solutions.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Enterprise Accounts, Growth Accounts, Commercial Operations, and Strategic Business Units to translate client needs into innovative solutions. You’ll contribute to business development from opportunity identification through solution design, bid strategy, and successful client engagement. The potential base pay range for this role is 100K – 105K. The actual salary offered may vary within this range based on several factors, including the position and level offered, skills, education, training, experience, professional achievements, and location.
