Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a specialist to build data and information needed for internal clinical trial documents and scientific reports, supporting blinded efficacy and safety reviews.

You will prepare reports, assist in phase 1 study planning and protocols, ensure adherence to IQS and study directives, and contribute to high-quality output with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field with 2+ years in pharma. Master’s in pharmacology or related field also acceptable.
• Associates degree/RN with 6+ years in pharma may be considered.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to generate reports, analyze data, and create presentations.
• Experience may be narrowly-focused or limited.
• Ability to identify opportunities and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scientific reports and presentations related to clinical trials using available software and templates.
• Assist in constructing phase 1 clinical study planning documents and write Phase 1 protocols.
• Comply with IQS documents and Study protocols.
• Follow directives issued by management regarding clinical studies.
• Commit to producing high-quality work with attention to detail.
• Perform literature and competitive intelligence searches.
• Analyze clinical study data using software to assist with blinded/unblinded pharmacokinetic analysis.
• Receive and complete assignments from Scientific Staff within deadlines with supervision.
