Job summary

Responsibilities include reviewing orders in the EMR, resolving drug interactions and formulary questions, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. ACLS/ACPE credentials are valued.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and enters medication orders into the EMR with accuracy.
• Dispenses medications and checks technicians’ work per regulations.
• Provides drug information to patients and staff in a professional manner.
• Performs sterile admixtures and hazardous chemotherapy preparation per USP 797/800.
