Job summary

Synchrony Pharmacy Louisville is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee medication preparation, dispensing and patient counseling in a long-term care setting.

The role requires ACPE-accredited Pharm.D. or B.S., state licensure (NAPLEX/MPJE) and at least five years of pharmacy experience, preferably in healthcare or senior living.

You will manage records, inventories, and compliance with state and federal laws, while coaching staff and supporting excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm.D. degree accredited by ACPE.
• NAPLEX and MPJE licensure required or state-specific license as applicable.
• Five years’ experience in a pharmacy environment preferred.
• Healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of medications and review physician orders.
• Dispense medications following policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain pharmacy records, inventories, and narcotics controls.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and infection-control protocols.
