Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, a trusted acute-care hospital in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and clinical services. You will monitor drug therapy, educate staff and patients, and contribute to formulary management.

The role requires licensure in Florida, acute care experience, and the ability to supervise and coordinate pharmacy operations in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in Florida required.
• 1 year minimum acute care experience; 3 years preferred.
• Residency/fellowship counts as 2 years of experience.
• BS Pharm required; PharmD preferred.
• Board Certification (BPS) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Profile patient medication orders and support distributive functions.
• Interprets orders and verifies entries on patient profiles.
• Monitor therapy for interactions, allergies and adverse effects.
• Maintain formulary and promote rational therapy decisions.
• Participate in CE, meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel and verify compounding accuracy.
