Qualifications

This role collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize medication therapy, monitor patient outcomes, and provide evidence-based clinical recommendations. The Clinical Pharmacist educates patients and healthcare staff on medication use, promotes medication safety initiatives, participates in quality improvement efforts, and serves as a trusted medication expert to support exceptional patient care. Additionally, the pharmacist contributes to operational efficiency, regulatory readiness, and the continuous advancement of pharmacy services across MUSC Health Orangeburg. Additional Job Description
Education

Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred.

Credentials

Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
