Memorial Hermann NE Campus seeks a supplemental pharmacist to join our team for a variable shift schedule. A combination of day and evening shifts will be needed during the regular work week as well as weekend coverage. Qualifications

• Fills and labels prescriptions for in-patients and out-patients.
• Provides drug information to patients and staff.
• Supervises pharmacy technical staff and mentors students.
• Participates in Medication Use Evaluation and Process Improvement.
• Maintains medication profiles and IV/renal dosing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses controlled substances with proper records.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Documents clinical interventions and reports medication errors.
• Participates in rounds and patient counseling.
