Job summary

Boudreaux's New Drug Store in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a patient-focused Pharmacist to ensure safe and effective medication use across healthcare settings. You will evaluate medication therapy, provide expert guidance to clinicians and patients, and participate in cost-conscious pharmacoeconomic decisions.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited residency program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
• Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Conduct immunization services and educate patients on vaccine benefits and schedules.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapy as needed.
