Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville, FL seeks a Pharmacist to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services. You will ensure safe, cost-effective drug therapy, educate staff and patients, and support ongoing education and research activities across inpatient and ambulatory settings.

Requirements include graduation from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy, Florida licensure or eligibility, and strong communication skills; PharmD preferred and two years of healthcare pharmacy experience are desirable for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
• PharmD preferred.
• Two years pharmacy experience in an organized health care setting preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with supervisors, peers, support personnel and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services for patients in assigned area.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective drug therapy and monitor pharmaceutical use.
• Educate co-workers, healthcare providers and patients on proper drug use and monitoring.
• Adhere to laws, rules and standards of practice applicable to Pharmacy.
• Participate in relevant education and research activities.
