Job summary

Temple Health seeks a Pharmacist to review orders from physicians and extenders, ensuring drug, dose, frequency, and route are appropriate. You will dispense medications after confirming allergies, history, and potential interactions.

You will also oversee students and technicians to ensure safety in the medication-use process and support discharge planning. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Pharmacy (ACPE) with PA Pharmacist License; PharmD is preferred, and hospital experience or APPE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy accredited by ACPE is required.
• PharmD degree preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience or APPE in clinical setting preferred.
• PA Pharmacist License required.
• Basic Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders from physicians and extender staff for accuracy of drug, dose, frequency, and route.
• Dispense medications with verification of allergies, medical history, interactions and lab data.
