Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for safety and appropriateness; contact prescribers as needed.
• Counsel patients on current therapies and disease states; document educational materials.
• Supervise support staff involved in medication preparation and dispensing; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage medication inventory and regulatory compliance; participate in quality improvement.
