Job summary

Qualifications

• One to two years of health-system experience preferred, but not required.
• Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in Kansas.
• BLS and ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitors medication therapy regimens for interactions and appropriateness.
• Provides timely drug information to staff and patients.
• Prepares and dispenses medications safely and accurately.

Skills

Knowledge of word processing (Word)

Excellent interpersonal skills

High level of accountability

Comfortable in fast-paced work environment

Ability to assist with pharmaceutical care across life stages

Education

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree
