Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist licensed in Florida with a PharmD or equivalent. The role centers on integrated patient and physician support to improve adherence and outcomes, including MTM, clinical interventions, and protocol development across oncology and specialty diseases.

You will liaise with prescribers, monitor therapies, ensure HIPAA compliance, and participate in process improvements while maintaining high standards of data management and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a PharmD or equivalent and be a licensed Pharmacist in Florida.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology and disease states, especially oncology and specialties.
  • Experience interpreting clinical data, managing care plans, and interfacing with physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret clinician notes for prior authorization and care plan development.
  • Develop and refine disease- and drug-specific clinical protocols to improve adherence and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor patient adherence using PDC reports and data from mobile platforms across sites and disease states.
  • Evaluate EMR for drug-disease interactions, labs, allergies, and orders to optimize outcomes.
  • Recommend alternative therapies per guidelines; monitor and adjust therapies for side effects.
