Job summary

Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to assess, monitor, initiate and modify medication use, ensuring accurate preparation and dispensing. The role focuses on identifying and resolving medication-related issues while supervising support staff and promoting safe drug therapy.

You will counsel patients, participate in the procurement and distribution of medications, and contribute to a collaborative hospital team delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required.
• MO RPh license with Medication Therapy Services designation.
• Experience <2 years for entry level; 2–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages pharmacy workflow, supervising technicians and interns.
• Provides medication therapy services and drug information to staff and patients.
• Evaluates medication orders for safety and efficacy and documents actions.
• Participates in departmental meetings and committees as appropriate.
