Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Jonesboro in Arkansas is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will ensure safe medication use, support clinical services, and participate in policy development to improve patient care.

You will oversee daily operations, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and ensure accurate dispensing and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• State board licensure in good standing in the state of hospital location.
• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team to leverage information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in accordance with legal and professional standards.
