Job summary

Christian Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care in a team-oriented environment. Preference given to candidates with a PGY1 residency and/or clinical pharmacy experience.

The role includes medication management, supervision of staff, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with Doctorate preferred, and MO Pharmacy licensure (RPh) expected.

Qualifications

• PGY1 residency and/or clinical Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacy license required (RPh).
• Medication Therapy Services in MO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, initiate and modify medication use per patient condition and age criteria.
• Ensure accurate medication preparation and dispensing.
• Supervise and direct technicians, interns and volunteers.
• Counsel and educate patients to promote optimal drug therapy.
• Procure, store, distribute and dispose of medications.
