Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Pharmacist at our Springfield, IL location to provide comprehensive patient care by accurately dispensing prescriptions and administering immunizations. You will counsel associates and members, maintain confidential information, and guide the team to resolve member issues in alignment with company standards.

Minimum qualifications include BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and an active license, with completion of an ACPE immunization program.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD. degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Pharmacy license (by job entry date). Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and dispensing prescription orders and administering immunizations.
• Counsels members regarding health care and prescription medication needs while maintaining confidentiality and complying with policies.
• Leads and guides Associates on member service approaches and ensures issues are resolved per company standards.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulations, analyzes reports, and monitors loss prevention and safety controls.
