Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 residency.
• Licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy and renewed every two years.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of safety, emergency and risk management procedures.
• Supports pharmacy leadership with unit operations and projects.
• Dispenses medications and IV fluids per policy.
• Documents in systems consistent with guidelines and quality programs.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds where applicable.
• Trains pharmacists, residents, students, and technicians.
• Contributes to medication use evaluations and practice improvement projects.
• Supports regulatory compliance and institutional accreditation processes.
