Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, a 454-bed facility, is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including drug distribution, patient counseling and involvement in care for all applicable patients. You will fill orders for medications and contribute to education and collaboration within the care team.

The role requires a PharmD or BS Pharm, NV license, and at least two years in a hospital setting (or PGY-1 completion); experience with hospital IT systems and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years experience in a hospital setting preferred, or completion of PGY-1 residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution and patient counseling.
• Teach and participate in care for all applicable patients; fill orders for medications.
