Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract, remote role in Canada. You will verify interactions, dosing, and contraindications across patient med lists, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date documentation.

Inpatient experience is strongly preferred, with a PharmD and active license required. Responsibilities include catching missed interactions, reviewing monographs, and flagging inappropriate drug choices while coordinating with prescribers.

Qualifications

• Frequent Lexidrug (or Lexicomp) use—weekly or more—in your current or recent role.
• 2+ years of professional pharmacy experience, inpatient/hospital setting strongly preferred.
• Reflexive use of Interactions, Trissel's, and monograph sections.

Responsibilities

• Confirm interaction, dosing, or contraindication findings against the patient's full medication list and chart.
• Catch missed interactions, stale patient data, and monograph guidance superseded by newer Special Alerts.
• Judge completeness of the clinical picture, ensuring all active meds, labs, and comorbidities are considered.
• Distinguish "permitted" from "appropriate" and flag poor drug choices for specific patients.
• Verify that clinical conclusions are carried through with order updates, prescriber notifications, and documentation.
