Qualifications

• Licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of California.
• Experience in managed care and drug information centers is a plus.
• Knowledge of therapeutic drug utilization, Medicare Part D and Medi-Cal.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacotherapy expertise in support of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
• Perform clinical review of drug prior authorizations.
• Act as preceptor for pharmacy interns.
• Support development of internal Health Plan Drug Formulary.
• Provide clinical pharmacist expertise to clinical initiatives.
