Qualifications

Must hold valid Pharmacist license in California.
BS in Pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
BLS/CPR certification.
Proven ability to review prescriptions for safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Review prescriptions for drug interactions, dosing and appropriateness.
Enter/verify orders in computer system and dispense medications timely.
Verify medications prepared by others.
Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals; clarify unclear orders with providers.
