Job summary

Walgreens Pharmacy is seeking a pharmacist to provide clinical services, including immunizations and MTM, while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care and maintaining Good Faith Dispensing standards.

The pharmacist will engage customers, promote healthcare services, and contribute to transforming the pharmacy experience from transactional to interpersonal across Walgreens stores.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves patient issues in a timely manner and answers questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Models and shares patient service best practices to deliver a distinctive and joyful experience, including care and Walgreens service traits.
• Promotes Walgreens healthcare services such as patient consultation, medication management, and clinical/wellness services to shift pharmacy from transactional to interpersonal.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree

Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
