Job summary

Novant Health in North Carolina is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time, on-site role across facilities. You will provide expert medication management, collaborate with physicians, and drive clinical excellence in patient care.

This position emphasizes safety, education for patients and healthcare teams, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. PRN scheduling includes weekend on-call and weekday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required; PharmD preferred.
• Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, preferred.
• Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, preferred.
• Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed.

Your Role

What We're Looking For

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PharmD, preferred.
• Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, preferred.
