Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a Clinical ED Pharmacist for a hospital in South Carolina. This full-time, 7-on/7-off day role is based in Columbia, SC. The ED Pharmacist will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced emergency department and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidate must have a PharmD and PGY1 residency (including ED rotation) or at least 2 years of acute care hospital ED experience; PGY2 ED or board certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• PGY1 residency with ED rotation or 2+ years acute care ED experience.
• Board certification in ED pharmacy preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced ED.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support residency programs and clinical education within the hospital.

In this full-time, 7-on/7-off Day Shift Role, the ED Clinical Pharmacist Specialist will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a fast paced Emergency Room environment.

Interested candidates must hold a PharmD and have completed a PGY1 residency (to include at least one ED rotation) or have 2 or more years of acute care hospital clinical experience with some ED experience; PGY2 ED Pharmacy residency training and board certification are preferred but not required to be considered.
