Integration Health is seeking a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) to join a well-established cardiac surgery program on the California coast. Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Provide perfusion support for adult cardiac cases (CABG, valve procedures, ECMO) and standby for complex procedures.
• Operate and maintain cardiopulmonary bypass equipment.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams to ensure safe perfusion delivery.

  • Primarily work at one hospital in Santa Cruz, with occasional compensated support at other hospitals in the area, plus opportunities to initiate and occasionally manage ECMO cases for additional compensation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perfusion support for adult cardiac cases including:
  • CABG’s (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
  • Valve procedures
  • Robotic cases
  • Aortic Aneurysm/ Dissection Repairs
  • Standby for TAVR, TEER, Mitral Clip cases
  • VV ECMO and VA ECMO
• Manage Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) support
• Operate and maintain cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) equipment
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality perfusion delivery

Case Mix

• Adult cardiac surgery program
• CABG, Valve, Aneurysm/Dissection, Standby, and ECMO cases

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Approximately 33% - 50% call rotation
• Low callback frequency
• Cover mainly one hospital with occasional help at another hospital

Requirements

• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)
• Certification through the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP)
• Experience with adult cardiac cases preferred
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
