Job summary

Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology to develop and deliver osteopathic medical education curricula focused on disease mechanisms and patient care. Qualifications

  • Terminal degree in Pathology (DO or MD) required.
  • Residency training in pathology in a clinical or biomedical research setting.
  • For Associate Professor rank, three years academic experience as a full-time faculty member at a College of Osteopathic Medicine, College of Allopathic Medicine, College of Health, or Allied Sciences.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a collaborative academic environment that values professionalism and student success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with faculty and curriculum leaders to support and deliver integrated medical education.
  • Support delivery of existing pathology curriculum and educational programs.
  • Develop instructional materials and assessments aligned with course goals.
  • Supervise and mentor osteopathic medical students in learning activities.
  • Contribute to teaching, scholarship, service, and clinical practice as ACHE faculty.
  • Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and quality improvement activities.
