The WVU Eye Institute at West Virginia University Health System seeks an Optometrist at ranks Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor to practice in Morgantown, WV. The successful candidate will provide patient care in optometry, contribute to teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and engage in research within a state-of-the-art facility.

Candidates must have Doctorate of Optometry and be eligible for state licensure; strong interest in pediatric and adult strabismus

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Doctorate of Optometry and be eligible for state optometry licensure.
• Additional training beyond Optometry School encouraged.
• All qualifications must be met by appointment time.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of Optometry and provide excellent patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage with subspecialties and participate in research within the WVU Eye Institute.
