UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager for our Cardiovascular Clinic. You will provide leadership and operational oversight while partnering with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff to drive efficient clinic operations and a high-quality patient experience.

The role involves scheduling, staff development, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and vendor management, with opportunities for professional growth and enhanced patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Applicants should possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's preferred).
• Current State of Michigan LPN or RN License (RN preferred).
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).
• 5-years office management experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing department goals, standards, and objectives aligned to the organization’s strategic plan.
• Manages staff relations including performance, satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines needs for systems/equipment/supplies, monitors usage and stock.
• Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates care with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• May provide patient care when necessary.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

Our Cardiovascular Clinic is a close-knit, highly collaborative team dedicated to improving patients' heart health every day. As Clinical Operations Manager, you'll provide leadership and operational oversight while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. Partnering closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff, you'll help drive efficient clinic operations, quality outcomes, continuity of care, and an exceptional patient experience.

A Clinical Operations Manager who excels in this role:

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.

• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.

• Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.

• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.

• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.

• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patience care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.

• May provide patient care when necessary.

• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
