The ideal candidate holds a BSN or equivalent, with at least 4 years of RN experience and 2 years of leadership in acute care. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years of leading people in an acute healthcare setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice, applicable rules and regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize and supervise offsite nursing staff on long term contracts.
• Provide clinical support to client facilities as needed.
• Mentor and coach clinical staff; listen to concerns and provide counsel.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure clinicians meet expectations.
• Obtain essential clinical documentation and reporting per Joint Commission standards.
• Manage client relationships and uphold Avant’s reputation with each client.
