Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS as specified for units.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy provider certification for RNs administering chemo.
• New hires have up to 6 months to obtain ACLS, PALS, and fetal monitoring.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, effective communication, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the department to align with goals.
• Oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll and staff engagements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across the unit.
• Identify, determine and procure systems, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Monitor equipment use, supply levels and overall patient care quality.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on assessments to optimize outcomes.
