Job summary

Axia Women’s Health seeks a Clinical Supervisor, CMA to lead daily clinical operations in Kentucky care centers, supervise MA/CMAs, ensure quality patient care, coordinate scheduling, and maintain compliance.

The on-site role involves preparing patients for examinations, assisting with procedures, administering medications, handling lab work, and ensuring accurate records while supporting a collaborative, high-quality care environment.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide coverage at satellite locations, where applicable, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure they are comfortable.
• Prepare patients for examinations and complete comprehensive clinical intake.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Perform basic clinical measurements (blood pressure, height/weight, temperature).
• Assist with patient examinations and office-based procedures as needed.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform CLIA waived tests.
• Enter medication and test orders via CPOE per provider instructions.
• Ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and sterilized.
• Provide information regarding procedures, medications, and follow-up care.
• Respond to patient inquiries by phone or in person.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up visits.
• Understand Nonstress Test (NST) procedures.
• Coordinate supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Assist in office-based surgical procedures after competency training.
• Ensure patient safety and comply with SOPs including HIPAA/OSHA.
• Lead by example and mentor junior staff; participate in quality improvement.
