Job summary

UK King's Daughters in Ashland, Kentucky, is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care. You will review and optimize medication orders, monitor drug therapy, and participate in patient care rounds with physicians and nurses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or PharmD Degree from an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
• 0-2 years of experience in pharmacy operations, or a relevant area with knowledge of TJC, USP 797, 795 and 800, and federal and state regulations
• Ohio Pharmacist license obtained within 90 days of hire if applicable for work location. Active Licensed Pharmacist in applicable states, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire

Maintains adherence to regulatory standards and upholds organizational values in all pharmacy practices.

Experience Requirement

0-2 years of experience in pharmacy operations, or a relevant area with knowledge of TJC, USP 797, 795 and 800, and federal and state regulations. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Certifications & Licensures
