Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as required by the state
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of regulatory standards

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of registered dietitians and guide patients, families, and staff on medical nutrition therapy
• Provide leadership to foster morale, quality, and respect within the team
• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions using evidence-based practices for inpatient and outpatient care
• Educate patients, families, nursing, and staff on nutrition needs
• Document patient nutrition plans and interventions in medical records
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status
• Attend patient rounds and support regulatory compliance
