Job summary

Pentec Health in Delaware County (Boothwyn, PA) is seeking a Regular Full-Time Professional Registered Dietitian. The role focuses on clinical nutrition counseling, education, and coordination with sales and clinical teams. On-site position with competitive hourly compensation.

The ideal candidate provides education for nutrition therapies, maintains CAQH credentialing, and supports quality initiatives while working autonomously within medical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with at least two years of experience.
• Experience in counseling patients in weight loss, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, PCOS, eating disorders, wound healing, renal and GI issues.
• Participation in CAQH; Must maintain credentialing with identified commercial insurance plans and Medicaid/Medicare.
• Able to work autonomously and make independent decisions within generally accepted medical practices, regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Completes Start of Care and follow-up education for home nutrition counseling patients via Video or Telephone.
• Demonstrates knowledge of diagnosis-specific nutrition therapy and operates as a subject matter expert to the sales, intake and clinical team.
• Performs duties in a timely, efficient, competent manner, including timely completion of documentation and communication to internal and external customers.
• Creates and provides education to employees to keep them abreast of new information in nutrition therapies. Creates/reviews documents used for customer education. Participates in quality management meetings and quality management initiatives.
• Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
